* Fast User Switching Compatibility: This service has no use for computers with low memory; it is needed if you log off completely and other users use your computer. In case your computer has a single user and/or you do not use fast user switching option very often, you can disable it.
* FTP Publishing: Disable in case you don't use FTP.
* Help and Support: You can set this to manual or even turn it off in case you don't explore the help feature. When you want help you can always turn it on.
* HTTP SSL: Set this service to manual.
* Human Interface Device Access: Turn it off in case you aren't using hot-keys or remote systems on your computer; in case you do use them sometimes, it is recommended to set it to manual.
* IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service: Set this to manual for saving memory and time. If there is a CD or DVD writer attached to your computer, DO NOT turn it off.
* Indexing Service: Turn it off - it uses lots of CPU - if you know where are your files and do not use the search option very often. In case you are an avid searcher on your personal computer, better not changing it as it will help you.
* InstallDriver Table Manager: Disable it. You can let this on if you need it.
* IPSEC Services: Set to manual this option.

Step Five
Close the services window and restart your Computer. The difference in speed should be noticed immediately.

Warning:
Theoretically this method of speeding up your PC is risk-free, but anyway make sure you do not use a specific service before disabling it. In case something is going wrong and/or stops working after restarting the computer, find the required service and turn it on.
