Bettie Page (Tribute to Jim Silke) by Giuseppe Lucano

The Dangerous LIfe of Bettie Page...this is the reason that led me to portray the most famous pin-ups of all time, but it was a strong temptation seeing a drawing by Jim Silke, I think he is one the best artist specializing in comic art, pinup and nude, story illustration, graphic novels, paintings and collectible Bettie Page

'Undulation' by gullydj

Undulation by Gulfraz Ahmed

Undulation is about the interplay between lines and curves. How they combine to create a sense of motion and infinity on a still canvas. It is how opposites (lines & curves - black & white) combine to create harmonious motion - where there is none. To make the canvas come alive...

'Temporal Insight' by designisinthedetail

Temporal Insight by Ger Heffernan

An abstract interpretation of the creative thought process - organic and evolving. Ideas form, vying to be heard; some fade into obscurity, some stand out but need more thought, and every now and then there's the "Aha" moment!

Interestingly: research has shown that solving creative problems prompts different activity within the brain than solving non-creative problems. This raised activity occurs in the right temporal lobe, which is believed to be responsible for drawing distantly related information together. In tests it has been noted that this surge of activity accompanies "Aha!" moments.

'Beyond the fog' by lindaa

Beyond the fog by Kosztaczky Melinda

The fog have a magical effect about the landscape. A dusty tissue what is making the thing’s a little mysterious. The sense of the dusty tissue is an invisible defence. This thing gives me inspiration in my work to show these mysterious and magical things. In the fog everything is disappear and the time stops and that landscape is becoming magical. The picture about the fog have a melancholic and peaceful feeling. The fog is a corridor from the lightness to the darkness, a corridor between life and death.

'Black & White Study' by sacajawea

Black & White Study by Gail Pepin

I wanted to do a pure abstract, which has no reference to reality. I chose black and white for the contrast capabilities.

The different brushes in Illustrator gave the various depth and textures I wanted.

I had a lot of fun creating this piece. It's very different from my other digital paintings.
