This is the best thing on Irish Television in years.  It made lol all other my pants and on the floor.

This not one to be missed.

So, I started my new course.  It turns out we have this Chinese Lecturer who seems a bit boring but no more boring than any other lecturer, but she’s adamant none the less and it’s still early days.

Anyway, without giving too much away, I asked her was she putting her notes online to ‘noodle’ instead of a word very like ‘noodle’ which the university uses as an educational site.

I don’t think she picked up on it and I hope to God none of the rest of the class did because I so didn’t mean to be racist and I don’t think I am.  It was a slip of the tongue more than anything else.

The theme of Moore’s latest flick is much the same as his previous works.  ‘Slacker Uprising’ sees him travelling across the USA to persuade people (especially young people) to vote for John Kerry back in 2004.  It’s very much Democratic Party propoganda but I’m still for Obama (who isn’t mentioned once in the film.)

Moore is a fatty.  Moore is ugly.  He probably smells.  I wonder whether or not he’s a ‘Tania Head‘ type character who uses people misery i.e. Parents of fallen or dead soldiers for his own egotistical reasons.  The way celebrities such as Michael Stipe, Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam), Roseanne Barr, Tom Morello (of Rage Against The Machine) portray him makes him look like the sun shines out of his behind.

Does he really want to save America? To be quite honest, I think this film is no better than McCain’s advertisements comparing Obama to celebrities such as Hilton and Spears.  It’s just ALOT less subtle.

It has given me confidence that Obama has a good chance given the sentiment of this film.  The film portrays crazy republican America, with one woman maintaining that Michael Moore should be sent to Afghanistan and Iraq and “blown up.”  PhD student there no doubt.  They also resort to calling Moore a communist which makes no sense at all.

The film is worth watching ‘cos it’s free and might reinstate some confidence in the hope that McCain doesn’t get in.

This video has been floating around the internet for a few weeks now.  I’m trying to get some information about the band online but it hasn’t turned up many results (they obviously never made it as far as The Beatles, I wonder why?)  There’s some banter here about the lead singer who got in contact with the guy who rediscovered the video but I doubt it’s authenticity.

All I know is that they’re a Christian Ska Band who rock.  It’s also spawning parodies.

You know those TV Programmes that countdown old TV Programmes or songs or films like “100 Best Films” or what I’m currently watching on BBC Three, “Most Annoying Pop Songs We Hate to Love.”

Not only do I vividly remember alot of the songs, I had alot of them on single.  I’m only 23.  The years must be catching up on me.  I now have opinions about politics and am beginning to hate young people.  I drink lots of coffee.  I’m balding.  I am offically over the hill.

The thing about these programmes which annoys me is the Z list celebrities they have for commentary.  These people are fools and my opinions are more funny and informative and would be a damn sight more entertaining than idiots like Daphne & Celeste and the others who I don’t even know.
