featuring designs, reviews, sales, and coupons for funny and geeky shirts

Contents:

Kurt Vonnegut (via Robatabrand)

t-shirt connoisseur's literature tag is looking a little skimpy, let's see if we can do something about that, yes? There's a new tee shirt shop on the web that features stylish designs dedicated to notable personalities -- my favorite author being the subject of one. The shame about the Kurt Vonnegut tee from Robatabrand is that, although filled with subtle nods to the his novels, no one is going to associate it with the man of Slaughterhouse-5 fame. Not that you'd want it to scream Vonnegut, but it hardly whispers it.

Year two mission statement: to keep bringing you the best t-shirt designs from around the web, more coupon codes available only here, and more contests for free t-shirts!

JPRG (via Publik)
John Paul Ringo George JPRG t-shirt
The iconic (not to mention often parodied, copied, and bootlegged) JPRG t-shirt design (along with other Jet Set Experimental originals) has been re-issued at Publik starting this January. Wait? It's fifty dollars? Maybe i'll just go make my own unrelated 4-line, Helvetica text tee.

Ingredients (via MySoti)

human body element ingredients t-shirt
Seriously? We have Tungsten in us? That`s just bizarre. Learn more about the cornucopia of chemicals inside of you with the Ingredients t-shirt by Roper at MySoti. I think the designer got lazy around the Niobium mark and started making up names.

Bottle Rocket Frog (via Rhetoric)
Bottle rocket and a frog in the pocket t-shirt

Relive summer days of yore with the Bottle Rocket Frog t-shirt from Rhetoric. I really hope the bottle rockets look as real on the print as they do in the picture! (if you already own this design, feel free to let us all know in the comments.) Don't feel bad for the green guy on the front, his sacrifice will be in the name of science.

Special Feature (Halloween T-shirts)
It's that spooky time of year, and t-shirt connoisseur is celebrating with a small collection of Halloween tees:

We All Fall Down (via Fullbleed)
Ring around the rosie - kids and a nuclear bomb t-shirt
Does the We All Fall Down t-shirt from Fullbleed remind anyone else of the Children of the Atom cult from Fallout 3?* How about Beneath the Planet of the Apes? Even without any pop-culture references, this is an wicked tee.

*Did anyone not blow up Megaton to kingdom come??

Plumber vs. Zombies (via 6 Dollar Shirts)
Mario defends princess peach from zombies t-shirtFend off hordes of undead puppets in classic video game style with the Plumber vs. Zombies tee by 6 Dollar Shirts. Mario's already a pro at the aim for the head thing, but these guys look a little meaner than ole' Dry Bones.

R2 Vacuum (via T-Shirt Bordello)
