The interactive game, Wii Sports, has been a huge hit for Nintendo, and as a result they bought out a second Wii Sports game called Wii Sports Resorts. (Available from our Wii Games store page) With so many people playing this game, alot of people are getting fitter and the Wii Calorie Calcultaor is an ideal measure of immprovement.
So the famous Nintendo console looks to of had a bit of a struggle this year and according to Iwata its on he decrease. Does this mean that the Wii is slowing or is it just the current climate working it's evil? I think you need to assess the market after christmas and see how many console have sold and what figures the competitors are looking at and find out how much of the market the Wii dominated.
Will the Wii take the christmas number 1 spot?
I hope it does but i'm not 100% convinced that the new Black Limited Edition Wii will be enough for Nintendo.
We don't know is the answer. Apparently Nintendo are planning on releasing an update to the DSi's hardware. Currently the screen holds 2 x 3.25-inch screens but by the end of the year, in Japan at least, we might see a larger screen size larger then 4 inches. Maybe this is to try and boost sales as the handheld DSi is selling at around one third of the rate compared to when it was at it's peak. Nintendo will keep the pricing the same and will consider selling it overseas too. Lets hope the UK is one place that gets the larger screens.
A bigger screen size will help increase products that are produced for the DSi. Game producer will have a larger text and graphic space to work with and this might also mean it will support playing video and perhaps reading electronic books.
I guess we will have to wait and see what happens....
I cant believe it. Nintendo have bought out UNO, available on the DS and Wii. I absolutely loved this game as a kid and will definitely be indulging. They release it on the 6th of November and you can get it from both DSi-Ware and Wii-Ware. For thoise of you who wish to know the makers, they go by the name of Gameloft, a leading developer and publisher of download-able video games.
For every person you help get online with their Wii you and the person you helped will be given 500 points. Hit 10 people and you will earn your 5000 Wii Ware points. On top of this you will receive Gold Status from Nintendo. This means you can download ALL Nintendo-published NES games for free on Virtual Console. The next stage is Platinum status. This is for helping 20 people which gives you 10'000 Wii points plus Nintendos award, which is being able to download ALL NES, Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 games on Virtual Console for FREE.
This is an excellent way to get free points and free Wii Ware. The average game on Wii Ware is 1000 points. The most popular game to download is 1500 points (Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King).To buy a 2000 points card from amazon is £19.99. So helping only 4 people is effectively getting £20.

* Select this icon and you will be prompted by two icons: one showing that you are the Connection Ambassador (or the Helper) and the other icon showing that you are the ‘Person Who Was Helped’
* Select the Connection Ambassador icon
* You will be prompted to enter the Wii Number of the person you have helped.
* You must do this within 30 days of when the person you have helped, has registered their connectivity using your Wii Number
* Once both parties have registered, you will have received 500 Wii Points on your Wii Shop Channel Accounts to spend in the Wii Shop Channel

I'm really looking forward to the Mario release and with the multi player option I cant wait. I predict alot of buying this Christmas and it wouldn't surprise me if the Wii is the number one seller with the Wit Fit Plus arriving.
Check this out. Its the first ever US advert that Nintendo made for the very first console they released. The NES. (Nintendo Entertainment System.) Although it's original name was the Famicom, which stands for Family Computer when it was first made in Japan.
I still have an original console and very very occassionaly I will bring it out for a good laugh on Mario. It brings back many memories as i'm sure it does for most people.
