Those are just a few of the thousands of comments buzzing about the Web following the news that the Twilight film series’ renegade vampire – and hometown Montreal vixen – has been replaced for the third installment of the series, Eclipse.Rachelle Lefevre, born and raised in Montreal, and said to be obsessed with vampires ever since she read Bram Stoker’s Dracula at the age of 14, issued a statement Wednesday night saying she was “saddened” and “deeply hurt” by the movie studio’s decision to recast the part.
Summit Entertainment has decided to cast Spiderman-3 star Bryce Dallas Howard to play Victoria instead.
“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for Eclipse,” said Lefevre, 30, who has described the character as “pure evil, pure instinct, pure malice, and very feline”.
“I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria … This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate.”
Her Twilight fans have taken the news like a dagger to the heart, unleashing their fury – and considerable tweeting skills – will petitions to “Bring Rachel back” and calls to boycott the film.

Selena Gomez on Robert Pattinson & Taylor Lautner
You’ve got to hand it to Seventeen. While other magazines will often ease into gossipy subjects much later in their interviews, the folks over at this gal glossy like to cut to the chase.
Take the very first question posed to cover girl Selena Gomez: “What’s up with you and Taylor Lautner?”

“We met in Vancouver. [Taylor was shooting New Moon, Selena was shooting Ramona and Beezus.] Kristen [Stewart] was staying in my hotel. He would visit her, so we were constantly running into each other in the lobby—and we ended up meeting,” she explains. “He is so sweet. Taylor has made me so happy. I didn’t know I could be that happy.”
Alas, Selena insists they’re only friends.“He’s a great guy. But I’m 100 percent single, and I’m going to keep it that way for a while.”
Sure, we’ve heard this romance rhetoric before and, yeah, we admit that wanting to see these two together is probably just wishful thinking on our part.
That being said, however, when talk turns to celebrity crushes, Selena goes and drops quite the juicy gem on us.
“I had a crush on Robert Pattinson after I saw Twilight.”
Ugh, this just became so Bella.
