can anybody help me find some really good sites with tons of great Christmas ScreenSavers and wallpaper ?? I googled them, but im not really finding what im looking for.. i would like a 3D screensaver that plays music.. or noise.. i found a nice one like 3 years ago, it was cars driving in the city and it was snowing and it was all decorated for christmas and it played music, but i cant remember where i got it from.. anyway, thankyou
First, there was only a single layer of wallpaper that was on the wall and the wall is bare. It appears to have been primed (I think thats the term for it?) but there are some areas where you can really see the green board well. Besides washing all of the residual wallpaper glue off, spackling areas that were damaged in the removal, and priming… is there something else I should be doing? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
We have decorated our bedroom and due to the wallpaper I have chosen, I wanna go for a french boudoir look.. Any ideas on on what kinda furniture we should get?? Looking for bedside tables… I don’t want it over the top, because this is for my husband and me to sleep in!!
We are re-doing my in-laws family room and it has a wallpaper border around the top of the wall. We can’t paint over it because the was is textured and the outline of the border will show through. What is the best way to get ALL of the border off?
We moved house in April and the decor in the lounge is really annoying me now. Basically it is a big room (sort of lounge/diner size) with a pinky purple carpet and matching curtains at the patio doors. The walls are a dark pinky purple wallpaper on the bottom half, have a cream dado(sp) rail, then have a light pinky purple wallpaper with darker flowers on the top half (plus a matching border above the dado rail as they seemed to be obsessed by borders!)
Although I like pinky purple it’s all a bit much so I want to redecorate. We can’t really afford to get a new carpet or curtains so need to do something with the walls to calm it down a bit. I was thinking of just magnolia but the there is also a cream fireplace and I’m not sure if that would look strange.
So I’m looking for some decorating suggestions/ideas
I’ve just put down a (rental) deposit for a flat that’s ok, but has these gross dark green carpets. The walls are white (with that funny wallpaper with woodchips in it) – but I just need some advice on what colours go with dark green, and how to make it look nice!
I am currently painting the inside of my house, and hate it…it’s slow and messy. I have been looking at wallpaper, there are so many different kinds now, but have never had the opportunity to hang wallpaper, does anyone have any experience with it, and is it easier and faster than painting…do you like the end results……I just detest painting sooo much, always have.
