I am a newbie for AE, hope you can help me.

I found my clip become slowed after rendered.

1. The clip have video inside.

2. The clip become normal when I make the resolution as 1/8.

Would anyone tell me how to solve?

Hey, I have FCP 5, but somehow the codecs got messed up or deleted. I used an XDCAM EX1 to shoot a video but now i can't edit it because of the codec problem. is there anywhere i can download the codecs for free again?

Hi - does anyone have a suggested fix for this problem: I am editing material off my vid cam using APE, including video and photos. When I import the photos into my project I often end up with a black space in place of the photo instead of the picture itself. It seems inconsistent as some jpegs import ok whilst others don't. What confuses me more is that some may import into the project today and when I re-open the next time the photo has been replaced by a black space!
When I run the project to a dvd ready for viewing I end up with video clips, interspersed with black spaces where the photos have disappeared!
Any help would be very welcome!

I am looking for some software to edit my dvd camcorder footage.At the moment i am using roxio creator 2009 ultimate but i am having problems with it loading onto my pc after having to uninstall it.So i want to try a different software as i have tried everything to get roxio back on with no success.I was looking at Adobe premiere elements 7.All i want to do is put title credits on my films and piece them all together/I dont want to cut pieces out etc just something easy to use thanks.

Ok, to set the scene, (last night)

It was my first night of filming the first scene of my first "proper" movie.
I did all the prep work (yes even made sure my batteries were charged) Lights in place, camera set up, the talent ready and in focus, even a smoke machine and I remembered to cover the smoke detectors. I really thought I'd ticked all the boxes.

I do what was a difficult shoot (working with a 6 year old doing a dance).

Everything thing seemed ok till I got home and looked at the footage on my computer. I found the effect I was looking for hadn't worked. I was going for a strong back light with smoke to try and make the walls invisible but unfortunately this effect didn't work very well on the long shots. I knew it was not working and tried to compensate sooting at F11 with ND filter but it looks like I didn't do it right. The walls were just too visible. :-x

So there's my wasted night of filming. :oops:

Could you give me some tips for shooting/filming?
Scenes from the bottom can be filmed anywhere ... but how can I make the scenes where a character appears at the top of the hole and the other fallen there? Or the scenes where you see someone up there? Or the scenes where the camera rises up?
Any idea?

Tell us about your video card. It has been worked in DV/Hdv formats?

hi everybody,

i'm using pinnacle studio 12 on my pc. with windows xp - i have generaly no problems with one pc. with another pc - i use xp64 - and pinnacle just wont let me render wmv. there is no wmv option at all. its just gone.
i got all the newest codecs, etc...what could be the problem?

mpeg 2+4 - it renders without any problem.
