My poor husband… I think he may start banning me from photographing newborns. Every time I go away wanting another one:)

There are few things I love more in the world than baby toes. I even still love my 4 year olds little piggies… something about them for me. Here’s a few photos to celebrate my love of baby toes and vintage inspired photos.

Lately I’ve been loving all things old and rusty. I’ve been to the Antique Market a ton lately and just love searching through all the treasures. I imagine where they came from, who played with it 50 years ago, why someone decided they didn’t want it anymore. The rust and the peeling paint, the crooked handlebars and the wobbly wheels all have a story. As I get older I’m realizing more and more that beauty isn’t always in the new shiny and new. Old is beautiful.

So, I’ve decided to do a series of photos called vintage love. Some will be new photos that I edit in a way to look vintage. Some will be photos of vintage items I’ve scavenged. All will be beautiful in their own, old, way. I’m kicking it off with a photo of my little man Koen that I took yesterday and one of Lacey-girl when we were in Spain.

I had the chance to do a newborn shoot yesterday. I’ve only edited this one, but I couldn’t help uploading it because she’s so darn cute!

I spent the day with my big brother and his family yesterday and took a few photos in the process. This little guy makes me smile every time, I just love him so much. He has one of those contagious smiles that gets me every time. He’s my little love-bug and you see his best friend in these photos, Lamb-chop. Love you guys!

After much thought, I have decided to offer digital collections. These are going to be great for those of you who want to give a bunch of gift prints out to friends and family or those of you who just want to own your photos for years to come. There are three different packages, depending on your budget and the number of photos you would like to own. Each package comes with a print of each of the files you are purchasing, a custom CD case and a reproduction release to print as many prints as you want. The files will be high resolution for printing up to 16×24.

I did this session a few weeks ago and have finally just gotten around to posting it. This is one adorable family and I think the sweetest, most polite little boy I’ve ever met. He loved my vintage car, which was my latest find at the antique market. I love it! Thanks guys!

A few from a quickie session with one of my dearest friends and her family. It was chilly out but our little Sydney is a trooper!

So I decided to jump on the Etsy bandwagon. Who knows if anything will come of it but it’s worth a try right? I posted some of my Europe photos on there for sale as canvas art. We’ll see what happens.
