Arthritis or chronic joint symptoms are more widespread than imagined, affecting 46 million Americans, or one out of five adults and approximately 300,000 children. Half of the Americans with arthritis don’t think anything can be done to help them. But Flexcin is helping thousands of people around the nation and even the world find relief in a safe and all-natural solution. The primary component of Flexcin™ is CM8™ (cetyl myristoleate). Of all the ingredients in Flexcin, CM8™ is the most powerful. CM8™ functions in three different ways. First, it acts as a highly effective lubricant in the joints, muscles and other tissues, allowing them to move smoothly. Decrease or loss of morning stiffness is commonly noted shortly after commencing treatment. Next, CM8™ functions as an anti-inflammatory. Relief from swollen joints is often seen after the 4th or 5th week of treatment. Third, it is also an immune system modulator, which can be effectual against autoimmune diseases, such as arthritic conditions. CM8™ relieves joint pain at its source, reducing inflammation and irritation of the joints and tissues. It also has been helpful for many sufferers of muscle tension and fibromyalgia.
As the nation’s largest holiday run/walk event, the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis offers a three-mile fun run and a three-mile fun walk with activities for the entire family. This year’s event will also provide a run for dogs and 1K children’s race. There are nearly 120 Jingle Bell Run/Walks for Arthritis nationwide with more than 80,000 participants. In years past, the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis has raised upwards of $3 million. To find an event near you check out the website.

Help For Overeaters – 3 Strategies to Stop Overeating Without Dieting
Overeating can of course lead to weight gain; this article offers help for overeaters by sharing 3 strategies to control the amount of food you eat without the need to be on a diet. These strategies have proven effective with my weight loss clients and I know they will be effective for you as well.
Overeating is so easy to do because we live in an environment where food is readily available and for the simple fact that eating is typically an enjoyable activity. But like most things, too much of a good thing is not always good. Overeating can easily lead us to put on unwanted pounds.
There is help for overeaters and by learning and following these simple strategies you will notice that you naturally eat less and enjoy your food more.
1. Learn to eat mindfully. Do you eat too fast? Do you absent-mindedly put food in your mouth? Do you ever finish off a bag of snacks only to wonder how on earth you ate the whole thing? These are all symptoms of mindless eating and in order for you to get your eating under control you need to reverse this.
Start by committing this week to being aware of all of the food you eat. Look at your food before putting it in your mouth, notice the texture the food item when it is in your mouth and listen to the sound it makes when you bite into it. By bringing your senses into conscious awareness you will naturally eat slower and enjoy the taste of your food more.
2. Eat when you are physically hungry. Do you eat because it is “lunchtime”? Do you eat just because others are eating? Do you ever check in with your stomach to see if you are actually hungry at these times? We are conditioned to eat based on what is going on around us or what fast food commercials are telling us to eat but if we make our food choices based on these external cues we will never feel satisfied.
The next time you feel like eating ask yourself, “how hungry is my stomach?” If you are full or satisfied then allow yourself to wait until your body needs food.
3. Stop when you “think” you should be full. There is a delay between when you are actually filled up and when your brain catches on that you are filled up. You must accommodate this delay in order to avoid overeating. When you know intellectually that you have had enough food separate yourself from eating by chewing a piece of gum or sipping a hot drink or brushing your teeth. This gives your brain time to realize you are full.

How Often Should I Weigh Myself? Find Out What is Right For You
If you have ever been on a diet then it is likely that this question has gone through your head. The answer really depends on you and what is right for you. This article will help you determine how often is good for you based on how the scale makes you feel.
First of all it is important to keep in mind that daily changes in your weight are not the same as fat loss or fat gain. Your body weight can fluctuate as much as 2 to 4 pounds a day based on your body’s water retention that comes from eating a big meal, consuming excess salt or other body needs.
Because your weight can fluctuate so drastically in a 24 hour period, weighing-in on a daily basis can put you on a rollercoaster of emotions. For instance, you can have a very successful day of eating and exercising and then excitedly step on the scale the next morning to get that reward of seeing a lower number yet have the scale show no progress, or (yikes!) a slight weight gain.
This is enough for many people to abandon their plan saying, “this diet isn’t working” when in reality all you were seeing was a temporary fluctuation in water retention and if you stuck with your plan you very well may have noticed a drop the next day. Still, this is an emotional rollercoaster than many dieter don’t need.
Another option would be the weekly weigh-in. This is an amount of time that usually shows a more accurate reading of your weight. Yet because the average person will only lose 1 to 2 pounds per week you can still be disappointed if your daily weigh-in day corresponded with a day your body choose to retain fluids.
Okay, so you might see that you are prone to getting emotionally caught up in the scale so when you consider how often to weigh in you might want to consider putting a lock on your scale and only stepping on it once over 2 weeks or once every 4 weeks. This is a length of time when you will see changes appear and those changes will be less influenced by the natural daily weight fluctuations.
Of course waiting for 2 to 4 weeks to pass does require patience but if you are prone to being emotionally involved in what the scale is telling you, then I do suggest you practice patience and weigh-in less frequently.
How often should I weigh myself? It really comes down to your emotional involvement with the number on the scale. If you can accept that your body weight will naturally fluctuate on a daily basis, sometimes up and sometimes down, then feel free to weigh daily but if you cannot handle the emotions then practice patience and weigh-in in less frequent intervals.

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Slow Cooker History
Crock-pots… almost everyone has one, but do they use them? Many just stay in the cupboard, completely underused. Slow cooking has been used for hundreds of years to get the most out of food, but it used to be a lot more work than it is today.
Way Back When
People have been slow cooking their meals ever since they learned how to smelt iron and make a pot. A large kettle could be simmering over the fire throughout the day, or a small, covered Dutch oven could be set into the coals for cooking. It has long been known that slow cooking has many benefits for our food. The downside to the old methods is the constant tending needed for the fire, as well as frequent stirring of the food.
Meats cooked slowly are tenderized because the low heat softens the fibers. It also melts the natural collagen found within the meat, creating a gelatin-rich, delicious meal chock full of goodness. Fibrous vegetables like parsnips, turnips, and rutabagas also benefit from slow cooking. Dried crops like beans and lentils are slow cooked to create delicious, hearty meals.
The Crock Pot
The Naxon Utilities Corporation in Chicago developed what we recognize as a slow cooker in the’50s. They called their new pot the Beanery All Purpose Cooker. It was meant to help make baked beans. The Beanery was a ceramic pot situated inside a metal pan equipped with heating elements around the sides. This heated the ceramic pot evenly, while keeping the heat away from directly contacting the food.
Naxon was bought by Rival in’70. The Beanery was reinvented as the Crock Pot. During the’70s, more women were joining the workforce, and the Crock Pot helped them manage to feed their families as well. It was easy enough to fill it before they left for work and be able to come home to a hot meal.
As the years have passed, the Crock Pot has been improved. With features like removable ceramic inserts for easy cleaning and more settings, it has become more useful than ever before. Unlike older models that only had High and Low settings and were in one piece, making cleaning difficult; the newer models often feature a Warm setting as well as being easier to take care of.
In the old days, women used slow cooking to make many different foods. Today, crock-pots are even more convenient. You can make roasts, stews, beans and all sorts of tasty meals in your slow cooker, even some more complicated dishes including lasagna, pulled pork, and seafood chowders. You can even cook homemade chicken noodle soup in a crock pot very easily. Almost anything can be made in a crock-pot.
Like the traditional methods, crock-pots can also be used to bake breads and cakes. The more you play with your crock-pot, the more you may enjoy it. Desserts and other great recipes are waiting to be tried.
Chicken vegetable soup is delicious and filling. You can add any vegetables you happen to have handy. Try onions, peppers, zucchini, corn, green beans or anything else you like. There are many ways to make this soup. Try some different variations and see which you like best.
Why Do We Need To Join A Gym And Why We Don’t
For people who need to concentrate on ther fitness, joining a gym is advisable. However, there are people who settled on stopping and get themselves workout alone. Now, why do you think these people join a gym and why do others do not ever consider joining a gym? Here are several of the advantages and disadvantages of joining a gym.
Benefits of joining a gym:
Advanced quality equipments that you can’t afford are mostly available in gym. Such equipments include various varieties of dumbbells, barbell, cardio machine, weight lifting machines. and other equipments for your exercise. There are also gyms that have pools, basketball courts, and other areas for sporting. These will prevent you from getting tired of doing the same routine everyday. You can take several exercises using these available facilities.
In gym, there are available trainers, staffs, and other members that you can consult about your activities. Professionals such as dieticians, gym instructors, physical therapist, yoga instructors, bodybuilders, and aerobic teachers are available in gym. You can ask them on how to exercise and utilise the facilities properly and have a healthy diet for your training .
It is advisable to join a gym than to have a gym at your own home. Equipments for a gym are too expensive that will cost you a bigger deal of money. As long as the gym is near your home or work place, joining here is good.
Disdvantages of joining a gym:
The first disadvantage of a gym is having a lot of expenses. Apart from membership fee, there is also a regular fee. If you hire a personal trainer, most probably there will be an extra charge. Other gyms also bill for parking lots and use of locker rooms.
Another problem is involving the time and distance. You will have to take an extra time and effort just to travel to go to a gym.
There is also a question on the availability of the equipments. If there are a lot of people in a gym, there might be rivalry in utilising some equipments.
Find a gym where you can change your health and fitness.

This is what many people are wondering if it is possible in today’s modern internet age. The reason’s are clear. In days past, if a person was suffering a medical condition for which they had not the means to pay the medical costs directly associated with this illness then they were either left to beg and borrow from family and friends, or worse – they were simply out of luck.
This is simply unacceptable in the world we live in today, especially here in the United States of America. We are the richest nation on earth, and in fact we are the richest nation in the history of the world no less.
Therefore if our great citizens are in need of medical attention and they have not medical insurance then Medicaid is the safety net that is there to catch then if they fall.
Eligibility For Medicaid
The next logical question is of course regarding eligibility for Medicaid – who is eligible? Fortunately, there are many valuable resources these days when it comes to that very same question. Just who is eligible? Is anyone available? How does a person apply? By mail? In person? By courier? Online? These are all good and valid questions indeed.

Ion Therapy as a Detox Facilitator
On any given day, the human body is exposed to thousands of different chemicals, toxins, and carcinogens. They are found in your shampoo, sprayed on your vegetables, cooked in your meals, emitted from your cars, and even located in seemingly healthy choices such as teas.
These toxins have been linked to many health problems, some of which have reached epidemic proportions in America. Heart disease, kidney disease, and cancer are just a few of the health issues most closely associated with negative toxins in the body. These carcinogens and chemicals may also be the cause of diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Autism.
Sweat is one of the ways in which the body naturally detoxifies, which is why saunas are suggested after a spa treatment or workout. This is another reason why exercise is a great way to keep your body healthy. Maintaining a healthy diet of highly alkaline foods such as leafy greens and raw vegetables can also help neutralize the toxins in your system.
Unfortunately, these solutions are not quite sufficient enough to battle the level of toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis. The presence of these synthetic materials is higher than it has ever been, because of the Industrial Revolution and advances in technology. A facilitator is necessary to help the body eliminate these toxins, and ion therapy is the best facilitator for this process.
Ion therapy is a simple solution to the toxic problem in your body. This treatment simple requires you to soak your feet in an ionized footbath for about 30 minutes. This sends a small charged current through your body, which generates positively charged ions. They simply neutralize the negatively charged toxins in your body and flush them out through the billions of pores in your feet.
The ion therapy only facilitates the body’s natural homeostasis; at a speed your body would not be able to reach on its own. There are also studies being conducted in regards to the highest level of acidity your body can reach safely.
With all the health problems in the world, and the increase in pollutants, chemicals and toxins in our daily life, no wonder there seems to be a correlation among them. Seek an alternative medicine spa for an ion therapy treatment and you won’t be sorry!

Use of Percussor’s in the Medical Field
The use of percussor’s in the medical field has allowed doctors to test reflexes and check for chest congestion safely and effectively without the use of invasive procedures. Percussion, as a medical technique, was first discovered in 1754 by Leopold Auenbrugger. He developed this technique by watching his father tap on a keg to check the fluid level. He discovered that it could also be used on humans to check the congestion level of the heart and lungs as well as determine if reflexes were healthy.
The percussor and reflexes
The knee percussor looks like a little hammer with a rubber triangle for a head. It’s used to test your reflexes and make sure that the nerves that control your muscles are healthy. While you’re sitting up straight the doctor will tap the percussor on your knee with the rubber triangle to look for healthy reflexes. If all is well the knee will kick straight out.
Percussors and treatment of pain
The percussor is also used to break up scar tissue and fascial adhesions (fascia is the thin layer of connective tissue that surrounds and supports the muscles and inner organs of the body). With an excess of scar tissue or fascial restrictions it can be very painful to move certain body parts. The percussor, when used in rapid succession, is able to break up the tension and relieve the patient of pain and restricted movement.
Pneumatic percussors and lung disorders
A pneumatic percussor from a medical laser equipment provider is designed to break up mucus clogging in the lungs. A percussion device is strapped around the patient’s chest and the rapid succession of movements from the percussor will break up the clogging in the lungs. When the patient begins to cough then the doctor knows that lung passages are beginning to clear. It is also a very well known treatment for cystic fibrosis in children. Along with nebulizers and air compressors a pneumatic percussor can unclog air passages as well as kill off bacteria that amass there.
