Children,computer games & their uses
The effect of video games on children is a topic of heated debate among politicians, educators, parents and psychologists. There is sufficient data available, however, to illustrate the development potential of video games.

1. Education:
The interactive nature of video games combined with the frequent use of a reward system can help grab a child’s interest and encourage her to complete a task that she may otherwise find mundane or boring.
2. Fitness:
Most people would laugh if you told them a video game helped you exercise and lose weight. Video games requiring physical movement and interaction actually fight obesity and lethargy, according to research conducted by the Mayo Clinic.
3. Coordination:
Video games regularly challenge a player’s coordination by requiring precisely timed and accurate button presses in response to on-screen cues. A study by Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, showed that surgeons most skilled with video games made as few as 47% fewer errors compared with those with the least gaming skill.
4. Behavior:
Video games that encourage helpful social behavior can develop a kinder, more benevolent nature in children, according to research posted in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.
5. Self-esteem:
Being able to overcome challenges and succeed at a task are vitally important to anyone’s self-esteem. The capacity of video games to be dynamic results in an experience that is challenging but surmountable.

Steps to improve muscles with Protein
Build muscle with protein by utilizing it in an educated and calculating way.

1. Stimulate your muscle building protein and your body’s need for more protein through resistance training. Engage in at least three 15-minute weight lifting workouts per week.
2. Eat in conjunction with exercise. This is a key element to making significant and substantial gains. Understand the more protein in your system, the more the body uses it to accommodate the need for more muscle, allowing your workouts to become more intense.
3. Consume as you grow. You will take in at least 1 gram of protein for every pound you weigh every day & spread the intake across 5 or 6 small meals over the course of a single day. Rather than consuming three larger–or square meals–you’ll be keeping your metabolism stoked and your muscles fed constantly.
4. Utilize your body’s natural response to the increase in both metabolism and hormone release by giving it more and more of what it wants. Incorporate whey powder and protein bars to fuel your muscle growth in one or two of your meals during the day. The added grams of protein you consume are instantly fed to your muscles, keeping them alert and energized all day long and while you sleep.
5. Learn the value of pre and post workout snacking. Consume a small amount of protein prior to a workout and finish the remainder immediately afterwards. Continue to do this even on your aerobic days.

TTY & TDD and its uses
TTY and TDD enable hearing-impaired and speech-impaired individuals to communicate over the telephone. TTY and TDD work in conjunction–there is no distinguishing difference.

TDD & TTY:
TDD, or Telecommunications Device for the Deaf, is a software program that enables deaf or mute individuals to communicate over the telephone with TTY devices.
TTY–or telephone typewriter, teletypewriter or text phone–is a device used by deaf or mute individuals to communicate over telephone lines. The device is a “QWERTY” keyboard that is similar to a computer’s but smaller. A screen attached to device shows words as they are being typed.
Function:
The TTY is connected to a phone line. The Direct Connect ensures that the phone cord is plugged directly into the phone jack. A flashing light alerts when there is an incoming call.
Technological Advances:
TTY/TDD is available as a portable device and is used in place of a land line. Some TTY/TDD devices can be attached to hearing aids.
Protocol:
Callers must take turns when sending messages. You cannot interrupt as in a normal conversation. To facilitate proper protocol, codes are used at the end of each transmission to let the other person know when it’s his turn.

Details of AC power cords & its types
AC power cords use alternating electric current that periodically experiences reversal of direction. AC cords follow strict specifications in manufacturing, regulating wire size and shape and ensuring current and voltage ratings are balanced. Cords have both male and female ends; the female attaches directly to electrical appliances and the male connects to an electrical power socket.

History:
The first power cords were hardwired directly to Edison lamp holders and used for both lighting and household or industrial equipment. The common two-prong electrical cord and plug was invented by Harvey Hubbell in 1904. His design was quickly adopted into widespread use. Three-prong grounded cords and polarized cords were developed to incorporate greater safety into electric devices.
Composition and Uses:
AC cords are primarily made of thin copper wire surrounded by insulating plastic and rubber, with the prong contacts made of either steel or brass and plated with zinc, nickel or tin. Cords are used for commercial, retail, electronic, residential and industrial applications. They are commonly attached to computers, lighting, household appliances and power tools.
Polarized:
Polarized electrical cords are designed to include a special plug shape that ensures the electricity flows along the proper wires for safety. The plug end is designed to only enter a socket one way to guarantee the electrical poles are oriented correctly. One plug prong is slightly larger than the other to facilitate this. Certain appliances like toasters and blenders don’t have internal safety switches, so the polarized cords are important in their use.
Non-Polarized:
Non-polarized cords don’t have different-sized prongs to their plug ends and are designed to plug into sockets either way. This makes it so that the neutral and live wires are connected randomly. These cords, without pre-designed safety requirements, rely on the device to which the cord is attached to have shutoff and polarity shifting features. These cords often have heavier insulation around the wires than polarized cords.
Grounded:
Grounded cords may have plug ends of polarized or non-polarized varieties. These include a third prong or grounding rod to divert any stray voltage into the ground and away from users and the connected equipment. These cords are the highest-rated for safety and are seen on all equipment that draws large amounts of electricity to operate or has sensitive electronic circuitry requiring greater safety.

Steps to secure website for using credit cards
Making your customers feel secure when using a credit card on your website is of utmost importance. If a customer does not feel the site is secure you will not get their business and they will go somewhere else.

1. Make it known what your security and privacy statements are. Have them readily available on your site. Talk about what you have in place to protect the potential customers. Also, let the customers know what your stance on buying and selling personal data is. For instance, if you are planning on selling their personal information (name, phone number, address, etc.) they might not be interested in using your website because it could be detrimental in the long run.
