inspiring message

toni went to market at market market one day.
she wasn't in the best of moods. she was feeling down and insecure.
suddenly from out of nowhere, she saw this inspiring message!
oh yes she can! she sure can!
and she walked away smiling.

balls of light

kenneth treated me to dinner in one of the restaurants in taguig, metro manila.
we loved these hanging balls of light, not the unreasonably priced food.

profile pic

"your profile picture sucks but i like your letter so i'll talk to you."
this is my generic profile pic. i use this in almost all my online accounts. this is the same pic that garnered the above comment in odesk.

cebu taxi experience
the airport-capitol route is nothing new to me. it's a route i frequent the past few months and i know for sure that taking the ayala access road from reclamation is the shortest and cheapest route. earlier today, the taxi i was in didn't take that option. what's worst, when we got to sm instead of heading straight for ayala, the driver took a turn to take mango avenue. mango avenue - one of the busiest roads around that time.

a few months back, a taxi driver asked for an additional php 30 on the fare after several minutes on the road. of course i disagreed and was about ready to jump out when he explained that's because he couldn't get any passengers from the airport back to the city.  i pitied the old man so i okay-ed.

i'm sensing that the cebu taxi experience is not as easy and safe as it was. are the cebu taxi drivers slowly becoming like their counterparts in manila? or maybe you have good experiences too?

out in the santi storm

storm signal no. 3 in metro manila (bagyong santi)
need to hold on to the umbrella...ella...ella...
or else it'll be blown away.
however, the exit sign in the 5th floor corridor wasn't spared.

snot, boogey, mucus

longest snot ever; about 1. 5 inches long.
mind you, this was pulled out one time.
can this set a record at guinness?
if not, at least it made an appearance here. ;-)

theme change
how many times have i changed the look of this blog?
i stopped counting.

i was told that constant theme change confuses the googlebots.
this is the main reason why until now my blogs still don't have page ranks in google.
i keep on changing themes!!! you've got to love this new one though. very neat!

*right hand raised* promise no more changing....

on second thought, i won't stop changing. change is good. it is refreshing.
i love change!

alone in serendra
i had my tenth cig now but it feels like i just had my first. i've got no one to talk to, not even friends who are online. it's either they're busy with work or unconsciously drooling while logged in to ym.

maybe i should tidy up the pad.but i'm too damn lazy to do that now.

maybe i should just watch tv. but im not sure what shows are on. i am not a tv fanatic anyway. unless episode 8 of glee is showing.

i already made a comment on almost all of the threads in the cbs forum.
i also checked the latest updates and photo uploads in facebook.
i chose not to do any transcriptions until tomorrow. my ears buzzed two days ago after 6 hours of non-stop work.
i certainly won't sneak into toni's files again. she'll think i'm crazy like most of her exes.

i am alone only in the next few hours and that already sucks.
now i understand how it feels. trust me i do.

after 6 months of careful driving
6 hours and 40 minutes ago, i wanted to scream these exact words "ngano kailangan man jud mo dutdut?
di ka kahuwat sa imong torno? ka klaro anang naa ko sa sakto nga lane. mao na! kay muhimo jud ug lain nga linya!"

if only the driver got out, he would've eaten those words and more for breakfast. he stayed cowardly inside the bank armored car. no face, no silhouette whatsoever.

i was fuming mad! i was flushed all over. but i kept my composure, stood outside of my car in the middle of the road and glared at the driver. i checked my car for any dents and scratches... none?! odd, but ok! stood outside for a couple more seconds then drove off.

2 hours and 3 minutes ago, after careful inspection, this was what i saw! almost an inch deep car dent after 6 months of careful driving!

waaaahhh! now i want to strangle the driver who hit me. and he didn't even bother to check! how could he?!

now, i will have to spend for this! waaaaahhh!!! to the driver of the bank armored car...i hate you!!!

oversized shades

tarat wearing an oversized shades.
she knows she looks adorable that's why she gave me that smile for a photo.

silence please
hushhhh...silence please.
some people in the room wants to have peace and quiet.
my brain is about to explode with your blabbing.

if you really want to talk coz your mandible needs some exercising,
at least discuss relevant topics or crack a joke.
stop talking about yourself.

better yet
pour your energy on the chinese characters you're writing
and seal your lips.
hushhhh...

"paterflay"

a dead 9 inch moth found inside the house
left on the second step to keep tarat (my niece) from climbing the stairs
she calls it the "paterflay"

foolish games
my favorite song of all time...to sing that is!
the very first song i sang with guitar accompaniment infront of the whole highschool
the very first song that would come to mind every time somebody asks me to sing
the only song that until now i have not grown to unlove

can't wait for this to be cleaned and edited
im uploading this in its most raw form, fresh from the jabberedonion studio

thanks to proudmary09 for the accompaniment

1-4-3

more than just numbers. 1-4-3 too. love and miss.

learning mandarin
after a few days in mandarin class...
an exchange of SMS

me: wan shang hao. ni hao ma?
clarence: wo hen hao... xiexie!
me: bu keqi. zaijian.
clarence: xianzai ji dian?
me: xianzai shi yi dian ling er fen. jiantian ji hao?
clarence: jiantian shi si yue jiu hao

in english...

me: good evening. how are you?
clarence: im fine. thank you!
me: you're welcome. goodbye.
clarence: what time is it now?
me: it's 11:02. what day is today?
clarence: today is the 14th of september

yes, we're talking nonsense.
with the limited vocabulary and for the love of learning, we tried conversing in mandarin.

tarat's icing smile

tarat deliberately smeared icing on her face so she can have this cute photo taken. awwww...

nose picking finger
while i was cleaning my nose, trying to think of an entry for this blog, an idea came to mind!

i remember, i had a funny argument with toni about which finger is best to use to when nose picking. and this i would like to blog about.

she said: pinky! coz it's small and it's flexible to move inside the nose.
i said: index! may be a little too tight but works best coz the dirt just sticks once you shove it in.

maybe you could convince us to use one over the other. share your thoughts!

aussie slips and misspells

even countries with english as their native language have grammar slips and misspells.
this is a poster in one of the hostels in melbourne.

what happens to a car
i grew up with my parents disagreeing on a lot of things.
i hear them reason out with each other without anyone giving in.

just a few minutes ago, they had another one of those petty debates.
and because it wasn't resolved (which is not surprising), i was inspired to start blogging about such cases.

mommy says: a car whose engine stops while downhilling a slope on first gear, will stay put
daddy says: a car whose engine stops while downhilling a slope on first gear, will continue to run downhill unless breaks are used
