My thoughts on whatever the hell I feel like writing!

brr brr
Since it is getting so bloody cold and I have to finally except that winter is coming and it wont be warm again for at least 4 months (sorry if i depressed you there) I bought a really nice chunky knit cardigan. (yay for chunky knits!) It was such a bargain too! THEN I bought this cute vest cause it was only 8 quid and I couldn't let that bargain slip through my fingers. So a bit of pre winter shopping has moderately cheered me up from the awful week I have been having.
Who would have known that a bit of knitwear and a bargain was all I needed to beat the winter blues.

Aside from this my personal statement is now DONE and my ucas application is GONE. whoopieeee!!
Have a good evening :)

Haruki Murakami
AHHHHH. I just read the most amazing books by this guy. Honestly if you have a chance give his books a go you will not regret it!
I read...
Everything about his books are just beautiful, wonderfully written! I'm totally going to buy some more buy him. New favorite author for sure :) haha.
Have a lovely weekenddddddd!

guess who's back?
holaaaa, back from my travels- finally connected to the world again. Had a lovely time, it's so pretty there. I was gunna take loads of pictures however me being me forgot to charge the camera so it died. Never mind you will have to take my word for it.
Before I went I bought this lovely black jumpsuit, have a peek...
It was such a bargain, it was originally something like £90 but it was reduced to £20 and then I got my staff discount on top so it ended up being £12. score! I wore it to dinner on saturday night but OBVIOUSLY I don't have a picture.
I'm off to unpack the rest of my bag, chill out and then watch flashforward later.
Have a good night!

packk, pack, packing!

Going away for the weekend to visit the family. Should be good- the journey is soooo long though! This is where i'm going ...
It's so pretty but obviously it won't look like that now its winter.
Anyway, I'm still trying to work my way through my packing- I bloody hate doing it!
I'll be without my internet for the weekend, not too long i'll cope!
Have a good weekend! :)

awwww
Check out the Shu Uemura holiday season make up...
Possibly the most adorable collection I have ever seen.
Shame they don't ship to the UK.

Basically this week is going to be really boring because I have so much work to do. ahhhhhh!! but i'm going to devon on friday to see the family so i'll look forward to that. I really should get on with writing my personal statement for my uni application. what a stress!
Have a nice evening!!

:)
Went to brighton today, shopping (as usual) Said that I wouldn't buy anything (as usual) but did (as usual) haaaa. I bought a really nice one off leopard print faux fur jacket. ahhhh its so gorgeous! I've been looking for a nice faux fur jacket for a while now but can never find the perfect one for me but now I have..

Have a nice nighttt! going to a fancy dress party tomorrow- always a laugh :)

!!!
Just to warn you... this is a bit of a rant
Ok so, today I decided that I would colour my hair, I allllllways do it at home so dont think oh it went wrong because home hair dyes suck. NO. They work well for me so there.
Well anyway, I thought because its getting colder now I would dye my hair back to brown (it's been a kind of reddy colour all summer) so I brought my usual brand of hair dye- as ya do- in chocolate (sounds nice huh? cause everyone wants edible hair.) Spent an hour dying it, making sure it was even etc only to wash it off and dry it to see that ITS THE SAME COLOUR AS BEFORE I DYED IT, just a bit more even I suppose. Hm well it serves me right for dying my hair red all summer. If you think i'm being stupid then just have a look...
Does that look like chocolate to you? noooooooo. Now I'm 5.99 down with the same colour hair.
Well at least it covered up my roots I suppose...

Oh also..
I've fallen in love with this 1930's Hungarian photographer called Brassai, His pictures are so beautiful they kind of remind me of the early films in the film noir genre. They're mostly inspired by the french as that where he moved to when he was young- he just used to go out at night taking photographs. Thought i'd share them with you...

I thought they were so gorgeous that I put one of them in the background of my header. haha.
Enjoyyyy!

oui, oui...
So, my weekends been pretty boring if i do say so myself. I worked most of it which was good cause I really need some extra money so I can afford to buy this coat that I really want but still have enough money to last me the month. ahhh this could be tricky! anyway this is the coat...
And I really would like to buy it next weekend because the weekend after that i'm going away and its I just know i'll be stuck without a coat freeeeeeeeezing.
Anyway hopefully my week off will be more exciting than my weekend, i'm going to brighton on friday so i'll post pictures of that little jaunt.
Au revior for nowww

Warehouse 'Glitz and Glamour' Style Studio party...
I've been working for the fashion retailer Warehouse for over a year now. Every October we like to raise money for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity and in order to raise as much money as we could we had a Glitz and Glamour Themed evening at a local bar. It was a really good night we raised loads of money through ticket sales and raffles with loads of great prizes from different companies (we even each got a Dior goody bag.)
Here's some pictures from the night...

I've only just seen...
the Burberry 09-10 campaign. Even though i've known that Emma Watson was going to be the new face of Burberry for a while I wasn't sure what the outcome would be until I saw the photo's and the words 'english rose' pop into my head. She's perfect ( in general and for burberry) and I am an ever growing fan of Burberry collections.

Have a butchers for yourself...

Meanwhile I worked so much today im actually exhausted- I would say im going to have an early night but this will never happen!

Nighhhhhht!

I am totally...
...going to start doing this whole blogging thing again.
So watch this space!

Meanwhile i am rather looking forward to the time travelers wife movie...

(google images)
I think rachel mcadams is a great actress and always looks gorgeous...

Au Revior for now!

what to wear on a 6 hour long journey?
When it comes to sitting in a car for 6 hours I allllllllways opt for comfort over anything else! There is nothing wrong with wearing your favourite jeans and t-shirt for the drive. I decided on my faithful black criminal damage jeans, electric blue vest with floral scarf (worn as belt.)

Also, packing for my trip drove me mad! I’m the type of person that has to pack for every eventuality which results in about 10 bags. I’m very indecisive can never pick what to wear on each day I’m away therefore I have to have loads of options for days and evenings as well as my basics like jeans and t-shirts. Not that it matters too much... I’m going to a pretty rural place.
What a mess...

cold cold cold...
So everyone seems to moan about how teenagers spend all day on computers and not outside with their friends like it used to be in the good old days. My friend and I decided to go out in the brisk cold weather to take some photos for her photography work. Since I have a complete aversion to coats I always end up freeeeeeezing cold, hence why I donned 3 pairs of tights for this outing so that I could still wear the dress I wanted. Here are some pictures from our travels :) ...
