A
T1/E1 (CEPT1) INTERFACE FANOUT unit to interface with commercial telecommunications
equipment to NSA/Washington existing processing equipment and/or other
CTE (commercial telecommunications equipment). This unit will minimize
space requirements (3-inch X 9-inch X 12-inch), cooling requirements (no
internal fan required/making desk operation quiet) and power consumption.
It has the capability to decode and encode T1/E1 signals, along with providing
up to eight mode fanout, the unit will provide the capability to reencode
output signals.
This
unit can be configured in any of eight channel configuration modes depending
on the desired number of output signals required by one signal input.
It provides a user friendly atmosphere by putting an LED on the front
panel and a selection switch for T1/E1 and when the appropriate signal
is applied to the unit within 100ppm, the green light comes on. It contains
